Asphalt Roofing

Wood Shingle Roofing

Wood shingles are a great roofing material for a simplistic look. Wood shingles can be placed on top of previous roofing for additional durability, or you can use wood shingles on their own as your main roofing option. This material is great for OKC roofing as they work well in both summer and winter months, lasting through all weather types. Unfortunately, wood shingles only last between 7-15 years, which isn’t very long when compared to your other new roof options. While wood shingles are beautiful to look at and most are fire retardant, wood is still a fire hazard and so it’s always of risk of using a fire hazard material on your roof.
